A new team member, Ojonimi Alfred has joined the MediaLab research group at UC3M from Nigeria. Ojonimi will hold a predoctoral research contract on the national project ‘Health communication: Fake news, education and cybersecurity in the network society’.
Ojonimi will also serve as a lecturer within the department of communication and media studies at UC3M. He has a strong background in communications with more specific interest and experience in health communication. He earlier bagged his bachelor's and master’s degrees from Kogi State University and the University of Nigeria, respectively in Nigeria.
In addition to his academic credentials, Ojonimi has already made significant strides in the field, with publications to his name. Prior to joining MediaLab, he worked in a social enterprise working in the Nigerian health systems as a technical writer, where he supported the design and implementation of public health interventions in Nigeria and across Africa.
We are excited to welcome Ojonimi to MediaLab, and the UC3M community, whilst we look forward to the new perspectives and expertise he will bring to our research group, department, and the projects he will be supporting.
